ATELIER IN GERMANTOWN, TENNESSEE

In January 2000, Rawlinson Gallery and Studio opened in Germantown, Tennessee. In Germantown, the business was named Atelier . The new emphasis was to be on teaching.

Atelier enrolled its first students in January 2000 and began with two classes, a beginning watercolor class on Mondays and an advanced class on Wednesdays. Class sessions ran for ten weeks.

After the first ten weeks session completed, the demand for classes required adding an additional weekend class. A Saturday class was added.

Recent additions to the atelier curriculum include establishing an independent study group that meets once a month in Jackson, Tennessee. Class offerings in art history and aesthetics have also been added.
